Refunds and cancellations

Scope

This policy covers fees for Breakout Confirmation Intensive seats, Chart Review Sessions, Weekly Practice Labs, and related packs booked with Code Factory. The website does not sell physical goods or software licences.

Eligibility window

• Intensives: Full refund of amounts paid if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before session one. Between 13 and 5 days before session one, we refund 50% after deducting the non-refundable deposit portion described below. Inside 5 days, fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the cohort.
• Chart Review Sessions: Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the appointment. Inside 48 hours, the fee may be credited to a new date within 30 days once; a second late cancel is non-refundable.
• Practice Labs (single): Full refund if cancelled at least 72 hours before the lab. Later cancels are non-refundable; we may offer a seat on a later lab at our discretion when capacity allows.
• Practice Lab four-packs: Unused labs cancelled under the single-lab rule above are refunded proportionally after deducting labs already attended at the single-lab rate.

Deposits

The ₩150,000 Intensive deposit is non-refundable inside 14 days of session one because it reserves a limited cohort seat and materials prep. Outside that window the deposit is returned with the rest of a full cancellation refund.

Non-refundable items

• Completed Chart Review Sessions and attended lab hours
• Printed materials already produced for a private desk workshop after you approved the scope
• No-shows without prior notice

Work already started

If an Intensive has begun and you withdraw, we refund only for unused full sessions when withdrawal occurs before week two and seats can be offered to the waitlist; otherwise remaining fees are retained. Mid-program chart reviews already delivered are not refunded.

Rescheduling

Chart Reviews may be rescheduled once without fee when notice exceeds 48 hours. Intensives are not individually rescheduled; you may transfer to the next cohort if notice exceeds 14 days and that cohort has space (one transfer per booking). Labs may move to another date in the same four-pack when seats remain.

No-shows

Missing a Chart Review or Lab without notice forfeits that session fee. Intensives mark a missed evening as used; one catch-up review may be offered as described on the Intensive page, not a fee refund.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@code-factory.digital with your booking name, session date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds return by the original payment method (typically bank transfer) within 10 business days after approval.

Exceptions

If Code Factory cancels a session, you choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date at no extra cost. Force majeure closures follow the same choice.
